PURCHASING AND PAYMENT

Payment is required at time of sale please by way of Paypal invoice which will be emailed to you. Please bear in mind that if you wish to use a Paypal e-cheque it can take up to 14 days to clear. Items are only dispatched once I have received notification of cleared funds.

Please ensure the address you wish your order to be mailed to has been correctly entered and includes house number or name and full post code/zip code.

Overseas buyers are responsible for any customs and import fees that may apply. If you are unsure of the fees that may be levied, please check your country’s import policy before purchasing.

Should you experience any difficulty completing the sale please get in touch so I can try and help.

Once your item has been paid for, you will receive confirmation of postage from me.

Alternatively, should you prefer to purchase via Ellie’s Treasures on Etsy or Folksy please let me know so I may set up a private listing for you.  Etsy accepts direct payments using a credit card or Paypal, Folksy accepts Paypal and Stripe payments.

SHIPPING

Ready made items purchased from Ellie’s Treasures are normally mailed (1st class UK, Air-Mail overseas) the next day and certainly within 3 working days. Saturday and Sunday orders are usually mailed on the Monday and orders placed during seasonal or bank holidays are mailed the next working day.  I’ll let you know once your order has been posted and is on its way to you. Commissioned/personalised items will be dispatched once sewn, approved and purchased – please allow extra time for this.

If you would like your order sent with postal tracking for peace of mind, please contact me before you pay so I may add the additional cost to your invoice.

Estimated delivery times: within the UK 1-3 business days, Europe 3-15 business days, America 5-30 days, Australia, New Zealand and Oceania 7-40 days. Postal service delays caused by bad weather conditions, industrial disputes, seasonal holidays etc., are unfortunately out of my control.

I will contact you to arrange re-delivery should an order be returned to me through non-delivery at the address supplied upon purchase or non-collection from a postal depot. A re-delivery charge will be required.

RETURNS, DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEMS, MISSING ITEMS AND EXCHANGES

Please remember all items are individually designed and I try to give as good a description with clear photos for each product. Please bear in mind it can be extremely difficult to show the exact colours of an item through photos and computer screens vary in how they display colours too.

If you are not completely happy with your order please get in touch.

CANCELLATION – if you purchase by mistake, please arrange cancellation within 1 hour of making the purchase otherwise I may have already wrapped and mailed your order (this includes commissioned/personalised items).

RETURNS – I accept returns on ready made items from Ellie’s Treasures, but cannot accept returns on personalised orders. Please get in contact within 14 days of delivery of your order. Once this has been done, you, the buyer, have 30 days from delivery to mail the order back to me, in its original, undamaged, condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs – please obtain a Certificate of Posting as confirmation that the order has been returned. The cost of your order, including the original shipping costs you paid when placing the order, will be refunded within 14 days of receipt of the returned package or proof of return. The cost of returning the item will NOT be refunded (unless the item is faulty or arrives damaged – please see below). If the item is not returned in its original, undamaged condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value and the refund will therefore be reduced. If you wish to EXCHANGE, once the item has been returned back to me, I will provide a refund as stated above and then suggest you place a new order.

ITEMS RETURNED FROM OUTSIDE THE UK – please ensure you mark the front of the package as “Returned Goods”. I am not responsible for any custom charges incurred if you fail to do this and any charge incurred, including a handling fee by the postal service, will be deducted from the refund.

DAMAGED & MISSING ITEMS FROM A PACKAGE – please provide photographic evidence of items that have arrived damaged or missing from a damaged package within 48 hours so I may start a claim with the postal service. Please retain the damaged packaging until advised to dispose of it in the event of a postal service investigation. A full refund (or replacement, if possible) will be offered when items are damaged or lost in the mail.

LOST IN THE MAIL – please contact me about unexpected non-delivery of an order within 30 days of purchase. I obtain a Certificate of Posting for all mailings and will use this as evidence to claim from the postal service for missing packages. For peace of mind, you may upgrade your shipping by contacting me before you pay for your order. If the order is lost in transit then, unless proven otherwise, a full refund (or replacement, if possible) will be given.

FAULTY – please get in contact within 30 days of purchase date, with photographic evidence, for a full refund, replacement or repair (if possible) and within 6 months of purchase, with photographic evidence, should the item develop a fault, to receive a replacement or repair.

Refunds are made using the same method by which you paid.
Refunds cannot be given for personalised orders unless damaged or faulty.

PRIVACY POLICY
I will only use your shipping and billing address, and contact information to communicate with you about your order, to fulfill your order and for legal reasons (like paying taxes).  Please read the full Privacy and Cookies Policies here.

CUSTOM & PERSONALISED ORDERS
I’m very happy to accept commissions and personalised orders and will keep you informed with a progress update, with photographs, throughout the process.  Orders are paid for and mailed to you once you, the buyer, are happy with your requested item.

All goods available to purchase in my shop or shown on my blog or elsewhere under the Ellie’s Treasures (based in the UK) name are © Ellie’s Treasures 2009-2018.

All sales are subject to UK and EU law.

**Please remember little bits, packaging and children sadly don’t go together. Items available from Ellie’s Treasures may contain small parts and are therefore not suitable for young ones. **
